FOR STUDENTS

There are Bulgarian Schools all over the country. We help connect you to the proper education for the language. Our goal is to make learning Bulgarian as easy as possible.

FOR SCHOOLS

Our partner schools typically hold classes on Saturdays or Sundays, therefore, often referred to as “Saturday -Sunday Schools”. They serve children from preschool through high school as well as adults. We are committed to the idea the Bulgarian Schools in the United States are able to work together to elevate Bulgarian language education.

The Association of Bulgarian Schools in America (ABSA) is an organization established in 2018, when it became clear that Bulgarian community-based heritage language schools across the United States needed to connect with each other and become more visible in the official language landscape. To this respect, ABSA collaborates with the National Coalition of Community-Based Heritage Language Schools, the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), the Seal of Biliteracy, the Global Seal of Biliteracy, many universities, and others.
